The new wet pour rubber outdoor play area at Bristol Zoo's visitor attraction Explorer's Creek has recently been unveiled to the public.  The children's safety surface installed by SSP Ltd has been hailed a great success by the zoo's estates team who worked closely with SSP Ltd on the design element.  'Our experience in designing, supplying, and installing play surfaces, both wet pour rubber and artificial grass, in schools, nursery schools and similar visitor attractions to that of Bristol Zoo proved vital with this project' said SSP's Project Manager, Andrew Lofting 'It was important to get the right blend of coloured rubber crumb to give the play area the visual impact the client required.  For this attraction we specified our wet pour rubber safety surface as opposed to our artificial grass range of outdoor play areas.  The results are simply stunning'.  The 'SPLASH' area of the attraction is described by the zoo as a water-play zone with streams, dams and the chance for youngsters to get their toes wet.
