Caring for your Surfaces

Although a Fake or Artificial Lawn requires less maintenance than a natural equivalent, it does require some care to keep it looking at its best, and to maximise its life.

  • Remove any soil, dirt or debris using a stiff brush
  • Gently hose off any dust, but do not jet wash
  • Loosen any infill occasionally using a spring rake and top up as required
  • Remove leaves etc in the Autumn
  • In damp areas it may be necessary to treat the surface with a moss killer. Most products for external hard surfaces are appropriate
  • Pet owners should discourage pets from digging the surface and faeces removed as soon as possible. Artificial Grass can have disinfectant applied to it.
